Our Story
Clinicians Erin Wysong-Warren and Gary Kindley began collaborating in 2015 with the goal of providing focused counseling services that addressed trauma, intimacy disorders, sex & love addiction, as well as relationship issues. As Counseling, Consulting & Inspiration Associates (CCIA), their growing team was committed to providing a holistic, client-centered, and family systems-based approach to relational recovery therapy through core values that included healing, empowerment, and connection.
In 2023, Erin Wysong-Warren founded the Institute for Relational Recovery (IRR) to not only serve clients, but also to support emerging and fellow clinicians through quality training, LPC Supervision for LPC-Associates, as well as site supervision and mentorship for Master Level Student Interns.
We deeply believe in the ongoing growth, learning, and development of our clients, team, and colleagues. Our diverse team holds specialized certifications and memberships that include:

Testimonials
Therapeutic Specialties
Sex and Porn Addiction
We practice sex-positive therapy. Human sexuality can be a great source of pleasure and intimacy for many adults. Yet the intimacy and beauty of sex can be undermined by sex addiction. We work with you to rehabilitate your relationship with sex and treat the underlying issues.
Developmental Trauma
Overcome childhood trauma and neglect while reclaiming your most authentic self. Understand how developmental trauma has impacted your relationship with yourself and others. We help you address the core underlying issues that impact adult relationships and take ownership of your life.
Betrayal Trauma
Betrayal trauma characterizes the experience of a partner in a relationship when there has been infidelity by way of an affair or as a result of a sex addiction in a monogamous relationship. When this happens, the betrayed partner can experience a myriad of reactions and be in a state of emotional turmoil, exhibiting signs of post-traumatic stress. We work with you to help you learn to emotionally regulate while healing your grief.
Parental Enmeshment
Parental enmeshment describes family relationships that lack boundaries, such as roles and expectations are confused, parents are overly reliant on their children for support, and children not being allowed to become emotionally independent from their parents. With therapy, clients can learn how to set and assert healthy boundaries.
